Theon Design restore and enhance the Porsche 911 blending world-class design and engineering with a single-minded objective: to apply the robustness of an OEM-like approach, but with the craftsmanship that can only come from a small team of experts. We like to call this OEM+ and it ensures the highest possible quality, finish and overall aesthetics.
For every Theon Design commission, state-of-the-art digital design techniques are blended with traditional hand-craftsmanship. Using the Porsche 911 (964 series) as its base, Theon combines OEM-level design, quality and manufacturing techniques with an obsessive attention to detail. In order to build cars to the tightest tolerances, each component is digitised and modelled in 3D design software. This approach maximises precision and panel fit – and also gives Theon the flexibility to ensure each car is unique, enabling it to tailor details to a customer’s individual specification.
Theon Design applies the same forensic attention to detail and OEM-grade engineering rigour to the sympathetic restoration of classic Porsche 911s. Theon focuses on rejuvenating particularly special examples – from early, pre-’74 cars to the later RS, Turbo and Speedster variants.

What an experience. What a machine… one that is set up exactly how I’d want it.
The 4.0-litre retains the inherent smoothness of Porsche’s regular air-cooled flat-sixes, but the noise... Wow. Just wow… those four tailpipes become the conduit of bliss.
The engine picks up so urgently, like it's running on something more potent than petrol.
Those carbon-ceramic pads chow down on the discs with strong determination. And no squeaking, either. There are a few OEMs who can’t pull off that trick.
Visually it’s set in the 70s, and the sound is from a ‘70s racetrack… yet the engineering is very 2022.
While ``perfect`` is a strong adjective to apply to any car, the Theon gets dangerously close to earning it.
Theon has perfected the process and the design, and created a menu of options for customers looking for a classic Porsche with modern features, performance, and a completely personalised look.
I reckon its USP is 'Best Looking Engine'.
There’s so much chatter and communication. And when you open the taps, that engine… it’s close to divine.
It’s clearly been made with plenty of expertise and even more love. It’s one of the jewels.
